Having worked in financial services since 1983, Mike is, at heart, a problem-solver. Whether it's helping someone live their dream retirement lifestyle or helping a small business owner become a thriving business owner, there's nothing he likes better then when someone comes to him and says, "Mike, this is what I want. How do I make it happen?" Then, Mike gets to work!

As a Chartered Financial Consultant (that's what the ChFC means next to his name), Mike has worked hard to gain the skills and expertise necessary to help people address any financial problem they might have. He takes pride in the fact that most of his clients have been with him for decades, because for him, clients are like family. In fact, it's not uncommon for Mike to meet with his clients over a round of beer if that's what they prefer!

Outside the office, Mike is passionate about serving his community. He has been the chair of the United Way Annual Campaign and is the co-founder of the Holmen Youth Basketball Club, which has served over 250 boys and girls. He is also an ardent supporter of Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Boys & Girls Club of La Crosse. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and attending local sporting events with his wife, Sue, and children Allison and Jonathan.
